Working in MS-DOS Part-3

Command name: CD
Purpose: To change the directory(folder)from one to another
Syntax: CD [drive:]\path\path\path.....


This command can be used to see if the folder is created or not which you have created by using MD command


Application:
1.Suppose you are in folder Windows & you want to change your directory to ABC. Both folders are in C: drive & your prompt is on C:\> also
     Type: CD ABC & press enter
2.Suppose you are in C: drive & you want to change your directory to D:\XYZ
     Type: CD D:\XYZ & press enter
(You have to mention the drive name when your prompt is different)




This is all about CD command
